Toddy 4 Sep 2009 A mother wild boar with her piglets in the Scandinavian Wildlife Park, Denmark. August 2009
dragon(ele)nerd 4 Sep 2009 that is so cool, great photo. Do you roughly how many boars share the enclosure?
Toddy 4 Sep 2009 I think it is 1.4 plus offspring. I am not completely sure but it is something like that (could be 1.3 or 1.5).

dragon(ele)nerd 4 Sep 2009 neat thanks, a lot smaller than I assumed, being that from what I have read Wild boars being a real pest. Kangaroos being one over here, basically all zoos that keep them have them in large numbers.

Toddy 4 Sep 2009 That is true, but wild boars make very good eating for both the staff and the animals. That is how their numbers are controlled every year
