At 11AM during January and February, the king penguins are walked from the Wings of the World to the Children's Zoo to this pen, and they make their return to the building at 2:30
If they continued bringing them to this spot, I wish they would have just kept and/or built another outdoor penguin exhibit. Or at least something else that can accommodate another aquatic species.
@snowleopard Praying one day something will take up this space one day. It has so much potentional to give the ambassador animals outdoor space. Unfortunately, and fortunately they're a little preoccupied with other projects at the moment. I wish they would walk the penguins to the African Penguin Point, but I can understand if the kings are having a little too much fun, it might be tough to get them to return.
