Great sighting though! Wild owls are always fun but big wild owls are something really special.

7 years ago at My grandparents house lol. Barely remember it tbh.
And one (uncomfirmed) sighting in Minnesota that was mentioned on an earlier thread.

@CheeseChameleon1945 I don't know the details of that first sighting, but as I mentioned in the other thread I'm skeptical your second sighting was actually a Great Gray.

Well the first sighting at the Grandparents house was of a Great horned.

Yeah... don't want to bring that second one up again.

I've been minutes away from Great Gray Sightings in Idaho so many times. It seems like every time, someone is there to say, "it was just here but it flew off that way". I've convinced myself that at this point I am more likely to encounter sasquatch.

@CheeseChameleon1945 I'm sure you saw a Great Horned then, they're fairly common in many areas.

@birdsandbats Never actually fully seen one In Minnesota though!
Hear them nearly every morning and found abandoned squirrel nests the other day that looked like they might have been used by owls, as they were very close to my home.
So yeah.. owls are kind of my nemesis.
I even know a guy who's into photography and says he likes to "photograph owls", like he has choice of what to photograph?!?!

@CheeseChameleon1945 What do you mean? Of course someone can like to photograph owls. In some areas they aren't even that hard to find.
