I just got the original 1962-map and it looks exactly like the one on your photo @Philipine eagle ! The backside of your map and the 1962-map are however different so yours is prob. a later edition ( Must be because of the photo of the elephant seal ).
I think you're right, ZTL listed the elephant seal from 1963 till 1974. So my map dates probably from just after 1962. To find the exact year I need to check more species, listed in the guide, on ZTL.
