Am I the only one here who’s surprised that the zoo has never really considered moving the siamangs into this exhibit. Sure, it may not be the most geographically-accurate species to be kept in this enclosure (heck, if they can keep Amur leopards in here, I’m sure siamangs wouldn’t be too far off). In addition, I suppose it would also make this area at the very least, a suitable short-term habitat until Orangutan Reserve is built, and the apes would (possibly) move in to that new space once it opens.
