This is Knut, the polar bear, in Berlin Zoo. Is still so famous, that a lot of people is standing in front of him while taking pictures all the time. Although, there are rumours saying that he will be moved to Orsa Bear-Park in Sweden during the next years.

The world's first multi-million dollar polar bear...in an old grotto that needs to be renovated.

Wow, He's huge!
I read on a site that London zoo have also expressed interest in having him...
And all the bear enclosures at Berlin, except maybe the Brown bears, need renovating.

Yeah, the bear exhibits in Berlin are way too small, except the main polar bear exhibit, that's pretty good.

The Berlin Zoo polar bear exhibit might be of a decent-size, but that does not make it good. Sure, the bears have lots of water to swim in (which is good) but their land area is nothing but rocks! Nothing do dig in or anything...

And there's no shade. I went in July, it was boilng and all the polar bears were locked outside in the baking heat

OK, and of course Knut can go inside if he wants to, when the other bears have to be out in the heat, that stinks...

Indeed grrr
I hope they use his millions well, and refurbish a lot of the zoo. Many of the enclosures need it!
