They haven't gone out of Kori Bustard have they? I saw bustards in three different exhibits a couple years ago, and now they appear to be absent from all three?
@Great Argus I hope they still have them but I did not see any at all throughout my visit, perhaps they have moved them bts... I will ask a volunteer/docent during my next visit.
There's definitely been some tweaks to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. No more colobus monkeys on their famous island, possibly no more kori bustards, possibly no more bat-eared foxes with the warthogs, no more coatis in the main village area, etc. The zoo still has no plans to build aviaries for the hundreds of pinioned flamingos and vultures (illegal in most European countries) to allow them flight. However, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is still a great American zoo, even with its big hot air balloon in the background of many photos.
