At the time of my visit, and it was for many years [aside from when RSCC had them], Bruce was the only echidna in the UK. Of course, this is happily no longer so - for now Hamerton Zoo and even Hemsley have now got echidna, but Bruce still holds semi-celebrity status on this forum I'd think. Here...
