Eurasian Harvest Mouse (Micromys minutus) Enclosure

That's an amazing enclosure for mice! Though I highly doubt anyone will ever see one in here

Good! Sometimes mice in large enclosures are kept in small groups and are practically invisible!

@Mr Gharial it is amazing, newly redesigned I believe too! You’d be surprised, I saw quite a few!

@Mr Gharial Just thought I’d come back to comment this as even surprised me! They run a harvest mouse breeding and release scheme and do a headcount and release every few months. Last count was on 18th of January and returned 84 mice in the enclosure, of which 54 were released into the wild or moved to other collections.

That’s a damn lot of mice!
