Thanks! That sign does clearly explain what a vertical farm is. I don't know that I've seen a hydroponics exhibit in a zoo before; it is cool that they have one.

@DavidBrown It's honestly really strange. There was supposed to be a big, multi-story restaurant put in this spot. Fencing was up, big banners with renderings and descriptions, etc. Then this and a few food trucks appeared in the location, with nothing said by the zoo about what happened. The garden is neat but I probably don't appreciate it enough, given what was supposed to be in its place (the food truck staff are always incredibly rude, which doesn't help).

@TinoPup Philadelphia's been in a *weird* trajectory, losing many charismatic species, replacing the ZooBalloon with a ropes course (which admittedly does look cool), and advertising their newest exhibit as if it was something amazing, only for it to turn out to be... animatronic dinosaurs and two animatronic animals that pour salt in the wound for me personally. (I miss the elephants and polar bears...) I do hope things finally turn around and they MAINTAIN (or even INCREASE) the amount of species they have, rather than letting the zoo devolve more and more. They have the space for elephants and polar bears, they have the creativity that Zoo360 has trailblazed, they have the demand... but do they have the will and the funding? Time will only tell.

@StoppableSan Could you please not highjack my photo into being yet another rant about elephants and polar bears? There is no chance elephants are being brought in and there is definitely not space for them, and several other zoos are ahead of them if a polar bear becomes available to a former holder. There was never any misleading advertising about the temporary dinosaurs thing, which brought in some much needed money for the zoo.

@TinoPup I forget whether I've already ranted about stuff like this in the past, but the main reason I brought it up was in general to talk about the zoo's trajectory development-wise. It appears to have no clear direction, and I'm saying it out of love for the zoo as a whole. And if anything seemingly not pertinent enters the discussion, then there's a reason I mention it.

@TinoPup I'm not gonna go off about this topic anymore, I've had a bit of a rough day and I don't wish to generate any further animosity. No hard feelings?
