Not massively surprising, the Gerrhosauridae have proven a difficult family to breed in captivity at the best of times, even with the more commonly-kept species, even as their day-to-day husbandry becomes better understood.
For the sake of this threatened Malagasy taxon, I hope someone cracks it eventually...
