I hate to see a mixture of hybrids of any species in a zoo or public aquarium: but when the species is as magnificent as the true Symphysodon discus (which fishkeepers call Heckel discus after the man who described and named the species) or the many wild subspecies of Symphysodon aequifasciatus I find it really offensive. This sort of display is just wrong on scientific, educational and aesthetic grounds.
