I have seen all the Brown hyena enclousures in the Americas, which are at Chapultepec zoo, Zacango zoo, Leon zoo and Zoológico Nacional de Cuba in Havana. I shall rank them from best to average as follows - Chapultepec zoo, Zoológico Nacional de Cuba, Zacango zoo and Leon zoo.
Chapultepec zoo Brown hyena enclousure is large, wooded and moated. Havana zoo is also large and wooded but with mesh netting. Zacango zoo has the hyenas in a smaller enclousure with a glass front. Leon zoo has an enclousue that is also smaller than the first 2, rather bare and with mesh Netting.
