Looking north-west, from below the bridge (which is closed). Note the new masts for the colobus, complete with crow's nests, and the house for the monkeys behind the walkway. Note the digger relandscaping the ground surface and the large number of men at work: virtually the whole North Bank is occupied by vehicles, materials and containers. I hope that the old aviaries will eventually be redeveloped too.
Nice to see some up-to-date photos. This has the potential to be an excellent primate exhibit (God knows it cost enough, but a drop in the ocean compared to any future Mappins refurb!)
