@gentle lemur thank you. I am glad to hear that successful breeding did occur. Do you know specifically why their population hit a "dead end"? Being Near Threatened with a Decreasing population trend, I do believe they could benefit from a captive/ex-situ breeding program and insurance population if you will.
@UngulateNerd92 Only a few animals were imported to a few zoos over a number of years. That is not the way to establish a long term captive breeding population.
