One of the most famous, legendary enclosures in all of Europe!

Good to love the Cape buffalo. Curious what makes this exhibit legendary?

@junglejim the only place in the world mixing Cape buffalo, African elephants and Giraffes.

@junglejim When I visited this zoo (with @twilighter!) in 2022, we saw Rothschild’s Giraffe, Grant’s Zebra, Blesbok, Common Eland, Cape Buffalo (4 of them), Ostrich and Helmeted Guineafowl, along with 6 African Elephants all together in the 5-acre savanna. An amazing sight!

@twilighter It might be the only exhibit to mix these animals in Europe, but Zoológico Nacional de Cuba (Havana, Cuba) has an even more impressive enclosure!
