Orangutan project construction update 2022-04-12 - Construction of second smaller island

Presumably these two smaller islands will be for the black crested macaques and the white-cheeked gibbons.
How many primate islands will there be in total? Will there definitely be 3 species? (orangutans, gibbons, macaques)

@snowleopard There are two large islands and two smaller islands between the larger islands. The gibbons and macaques to my knowledge did not leave the park but were kept off-show, and they were mentioned as being part of the project in a newspaper article in January.

@KevinB Will there be any indoor exhibits viewable to the public? If so will any of the existing rainforest species stay?

@nczoofan To my knowledge the greenhouse will have indoor visitor areas. A while ago through the windows I already saw what looked like a viewing hut.

The bird species and small mammals were removed from the greenhouse prior to the renovation and moved to other zoos, aside from a few bird species now housed in outdoor aviaries with barns. There has been no information on whether any other species like birds will be part of the project, but I do hope so.
