Sloth Bear Habitat

When I visited this small zoo, the exhibit for Sloth Bears made it difficult to see the animals because of the dense forest environment. I had to wait until one of the bears approached the fence. The new enclosure makes it almost impossible to miss seeing the bears because it is so open, but this is what I encountered in 2012:

What’s funny is we didn’t see them in the new exhibit! They no showed while we were there and remained indoors despite having access to this yard.

@MGolka Ha! In a grey building that is obtrusive and ugly.

@snowleopard Yep, a little foliage to hide the building like how Omaha planted around the giraffe and elephant barns would be nice.
