Not sure how large it is in terms of size or it’s age but looks one of the better enclosures out there. Not sterile, lovely mix of terrain and substrate for the bears.
@Cat-Man completely agree. I don't know how old this exhibit is, but it's leaps and bounds above many other polar bear exhibits I've seen (cough cough Bronx Zoo). Even though it doesn't superficially resemble the arctic, it's so much better for their welfare.
I looked it up and the last Polar Bear at the Bronx Zoo (named "Tundra") was euthanized on December 28, 2017. It's amazing to note that it's been almost 6 years since then. Time flies...
