Japanese snow monkeys (2019)

That seems like odd theming for an exhibit housing Japanese Macaques. Was this original intended for another species or was this purposeful?

@Dhole dude Purposeful to my knowledge. Central Park had some young males who needed a home and this aquarium made an exhibit out of the backside of the stadium for them. The theming fit with the Atlantis theme for the aquarium for its first decade or so.

The macaques are now gone from the aquarium and theres a sign for "something new coming".

This exhibit now features the Fishing Cat (Prionailurus Viverrinus).
