This photo of the last Yellow-striped Mousedeer in Mandai's collection was taken a couple of months back. She has since passed on. It's a shame that this beautiful species has been phased out.
@Unenlagia90 Nope, those are a different species, Indian Mousedeer (Moschiola indica) - they are bred at the zoo for reintroduction in the local area. The Yellow-spotted Chevrotain is endemic to Sri Lanka. I did not know they were bred from just six parents though.
