Polar Bear Exhibit

I saw this exhibit in 2002. It is now more than 20 years old, but my impression is that it seems to be holding up pretty well in comparison to the wave of newer polar bear exhibits that have been built since (e.g., San Diego, Detroit, etc.). What are thoughts from the zoo critic community on this?

My overall impression of this zoo was that it is quite a groovy little zoo that has aged very well from 1988.

It's solid, but it would be better with more natural substrate and more relatively flat land for the bears to walk on.

@mweb08i would say given the levels of actual space of the terrain probably designed to get the polars to spend more time in the water.
