I was surprised at how quickly grass and other groundcover was coming in, just over a month since the exhibit opened. At opening, the ground was all dirt, with basically no greenery whatsoever. I hope more plants start to grow into the exhibit, to make it feel even more lush and natural as time goes on.
The exhibit came out excellent for what it is. The grass and plants will grow in and staff can finely tune what works for plants and such. The climbing opportunities to be off the ground and higher than visitors will improve this.
