Common Degu (Octodon degus)

Recent addition to the Buddy Barn at Kidzworld. Buddy Barn houses an eclectic mix of domestics (such as rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, fancy rats and chickens), as well as some interesting exotic rodents including the Common Degu, Gambian Pouched Rat (Cricetomys gambianus), Indomalayan Bamboo Rat (Rhizomys sumatrensis) and Greater Egyptian Jerboa (Jaculus orientalis).
