@Jambo The vegetation has definitely taken over. Shani (the zoo’s female Serval) isn’t a confident cat and often takes shelter from the visitors under the logs etc. so perhaps they hoped it would provide her with more assurance. Prior to his death, the male Serval, Moholo, was always far more visible when he was on display.
@Zoofan15 Quite shocking to see such a quick growth. It'd be almost virtually impossible to spot a serval in there now!
I think i'd always use to see Moholo sitting near the back of the enclosure. I do recall some instances were I never saw a Serval, but those must've been when Shani was on display.
