I remember when I visited this, I was under the impression that the 'construction' theme was somewhat literal - in that the meerkats were having a new enclosure constructed for them.
Looking back, this is definitely one of the more 'niche', more bizarre enclosures for meerkat in the United Kingdom.. and an exhibit that most probably still exists on-site, even given the whole state that the Animalarium is in now.
