When I tried to photograph this species at Antwerp, I found it impossible to get the tip of the nose still and in focus, while keeping the eyes and ears in focus at the same time, even when I was shooting in profile. But you have succeeded so well with a head-on view. Splendid work!
 
Honestly, I would have to agree. Along with this and your other recent sengi photos turning out so fantastic. I just wanted to give you a great job for taking such splendid photos of a species that I’ll always enjoy seeing.
 
@gentle lemur Thank you very much for your very kind words ! The exhibit at Basel is great and there's natural light, so it is a lot easier to get the focus than in darker exhibits. But I was really lucky to get to see the sengi on the move, and the shot is maybe quite lucky too.
