Wow, how common are Sri Lankan leopards (Panthers pardus kotiya) in Australian zoos and who else keeps them or has kept them? Also where were the founder stock sources from and when?
@UngulateNerd92 We also have a thread specifically detailing the current (and historical) leopard population of Australasia: Australasian Leopard Population. We currently have 5.3 Sri Lankan leopard held across two facilities. This population consists of 2.2 founders and 3.1 first generation offspring.
