1.0 Harbor Seal (Phoca vitulina) named Bubba (age 21). Bubba lived at the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Rhode Island for over 20 years. He was rehomed at the aquarium for a better social life with the aquarium’s other seal, because RWPZ has slowly phased out the species. He has been described as a gentle giant, eager to interact with his caretakers (source).
I liked this picture, because it showed his perspective across the barrier from aquarium visitors.
