Oh right so Clarence is Ramalon's son, cool so Seletan and Shiva are his grand-dam and grand-sire respectively on his paternal side. That's really cool (lol Clarence is not a name am use to for Sumatran Tigers in recent decades with all the very Sumatran or other Asian influenced names).
@steveroberts Yeah I believe so. All of the current Taronga tigers (fittingly) are descended from Selatan and Shiva.
As you mentioned, Clarence is their grandson & Kartika and Kembali are their great-grandcubs. The 2019 cubs are great-grandcubs through Clarence and great-great-grandcubs through Kartika.
@Abbey Really cool, its such a brilliant photo Abbey seriously, so happy to see Clarence and Kartika and the other Tigers at Taronga are able to actually climb onto branches of trees now like they would in the wild.
@steveroberts Thank you! The figtree exhibit is my favourite along the trail, both for this massive tree and the close-up views of the tigers by the glass windows. Seeing the tigers climb the tree is wonderful, and as you've said, obviously fabulous for the animals as well.
@Abbey Can't wait to finally see it too hopefully in a couple of weeks, would imagine would also be my favorite just based on your photo of Clarence enjoying his branch high dominion view of his territory.
