The legendary Emmen savanna...which I saw without any animals on it prior to me visiting Wildlands with @jwer in 2019. Thanks for all these photos of a now closed facility.
@snowleopard The savanna at Emmen was one of my favorite exhibits at the old Dierenpark Emmen, together with the Wild West exhibit, the Americasa and the South American bird garden.
It was when it existed - and I guess in a sense still is - one of my favorite savanna exhibits and also one of the exhibits that made me a fan of mixed hoofstock exhibits.
With regards to the photos: there are more still to come - I have so far only posted images from one of my four visits to the old Dierenpark Emmen.
