@Mr Gharial Actually the best map I've seen that goes by the numbering system in my opinion - perfectly clear paths, buildings are all on the map for orientation, exhibit outlines too and the numbers are placed in a logical and easy-to-find order! I also like the colour scheme but that's more a subjective thing. Either way, doesn't get much better than this if you're using a key!
@Mr Gharial Personally I actually think this is a pretty decent map. What I think a map should do is show you the structure of a zoo, show you where things are and allow you to come up with a route. That matters more to me than it being some fancy work of art. And I think this map does well at those things.
Yes, I have seen more beautiful or artistic maps, but it does its primary function just fine, and I have seen fancier maps that don't do that as well. And I actually personally quite like the clear, simple design.
I prefer a map with animal images on it, especially when I cannot read Danish. Ha! This map is clean and crisp, and well done for a privately run, small zoo, but I think that it's just okay.
