A quick tip - these bee-eaters are held in the 'Africa' section of the bird-house, where one also finds, for some reason, a nocturnal booth for kiwi bird. [Would it not be better placed in the 'Australia' section? ah well..,] apparently only one kiwi is held here, though I did manage, around the mid-late afternoon, to see the kiwi moving around, before hiding itself again in the foliage. This was my second attempt at the booth. Seeing the kiwi was very nice, of course, given I had a no-show at Paignton years ago, but alas no photos were taken - even the main nocturne attraction at the Zoo [the basement of the cat house] lends itself nicer to photography of any form...
