To be honest, I don't know for certain if Aphonopelma catalina is what I saw here, but looking over a list of tarantula species documented in Pima County and also looking at the geographic location of the church where I saw this animal as well as the morphology of this animal, sp. catalina seems most fitting. Does anyone else have further thoughts on this animal's identification?
