Former Manatee house - Malayan tapir enclosure

Is there a hidden barrier so that visitors aren't able to touch the tapirs when they are in the water? If not: A little risky. I don't think that would that ever happen in an US zoo...

To be honest, I can't remember it anymore. The babirusa are housed on the right-hand side in the building while the 2 malayan tapir got a large section on the left. I think the tank on the picture is a part with no access for animals, but I'm not sure.
