@Jambo@Zoofan15 sorry, I should have said that photo is a little deceptive, Kanlaya is a few metres closer than Anjalee which probably makes her look bigger than she really is in comparison.
@akasha It’s okay. I could tell that, but even factoring that in, there isn’t the size difference I would have expected to see. Given the height of the cow in the background, I’d assume that’s Porntip.
@Zoofan15 It might just be the fact that Burma was a rather short female, making Anjalee look larger than she seemed. Anjalee isn't the tallest female at Dubbo; the female in the back (Porntip) looks to be taller.
@Jambo I would definitely put Porntip as taller. I always assumed Anjalee would be a large female given she’s a Sri Lankan elephant, though it was suggested Porntip may have Sri Lankan ancestry on the forum this month (not 100% confirmed). Anjalee is only 16, so would have a fraction more growing to do.
@Zoofan15 it would add up if Porntip is Sri Lankan.
All of Taronga's females are rather tall (Porntip, Thong Dee, Tang Mo, Pak Boon). Compare them to Melbourne's girls who are all very short. The tallest being Num Oi, who I doubt would even be taller than Anjalee!
