This enclosure used to hold wolves, before the zoo had a tragic accident when a staff member was attacked and killed by the pack. The zoo used to have guided tours where visitors could pay extra to enter the wolf habitat, but of course that was a very risky idea even by relaxed European standards. Now this huge space, probably several acres in size, is a Wolverine exhibit.
