Oh, this is located right by the entrance to the zoo part right? It used to be an amusement ride called "krokodil safari" or something similar but did not house any real crocodilians. Is this an exhibit for crocodilians now/in the future?
@Daniel Sörensen I didn't know what it was, but I happened to comment on it while typing up my Parken Zoo review on my road trip thread. Yes, it is right by the zoo's entrance and that's interesting that it used to be an amusement ride. Thanks for the information! It was closed off during my visit, but there is a pool of water inside and I guessed that it had once been a crocodilian exhibit.
@snowleopard Ahh okay! That explains it, you used to be able to go on small circular boats/rafts there, like a "river ride"
Their crocodilians (which they seem to have gotten rid off now?) used to be kept in one of the pools in the AmaZOOnas greenhouse, and in one of the outdoor exhibits near the komodo house.
