@Nix That explains a lot, as the Asian Pavilion seems tailor-made for Giant Pandas. There are two very similar looking enclosures and they currently house rabbits and Clouded Leopards, but both species seem small compared to their extensive surroundings.
Is this a new photo?! This enclosure housed fishing cats for several years, I myself saw them latest some year ago. Sad to see that they now downgraded to keeping rabbits there?! Are there any fishing cats on show anywhere else in the park?
@Daniel Sörensen Yes, it is a new photo and the date is already on the photo (August 8, 2022). I uploaded 130 new photos from Parken Zoo from my August visit. If you check out my thread (Snowleopard's 2022 Road Trip: Denmark, Sweden & Norway) you'll be able to read extensive, detailed reviews of 24 Scandinavian zoos. No, there are no longer Fishing Cats at Parken Zoo, but plenty of other mammals. Read the thread for more info.
@snowleopard Ah I missed the date! Oops! I will read the thread! Parken Zoo is my most "local" zoo, so it is pretty interesting to read about and see the changes!
I wouldn't imagine that the Asian pavilion was built for pandas though, right? As the park only had two giant pandas on a short visit at the park (back when pandas used to go from zoo to zoo around Europe staying only about a week to a month), if I remember correctly these were also young pandas? They totally could have been kept there during their visit though.
