I have a bit of a hard time understanding the idea with having this species.Sure,it is a critically endangerd species with a pretty weak population in european zoos. But Skansen is a facility that is focused on swedish culture, history and wildlife. These parrots, together with Mantled guerezas,Mozambique siskins,Yellow-fronted canarys and a Corn snake form the only non-european species housed at Skansen.I personally think that this aviary could insted house scrubland dwelling passerines native to Sweden, like long-tailed tit, European goldfinch,Wren,Common linnet etc.
