Before Copenhagen had the idea to move their South American animals near the savanna (and building Mary's Australia in the former South American yard), I've always thought that they could have moved the lions near said savanna and moved their baboons from World of Primates to this enclosure. Not only would the lions benefit from a newer enclosure, but the baboons would definitely benefit from actually touching grass! Based on the zoo's recent developments for its more high profile animals (even if the polar bears still came out with less space than they should have gotten, not to mention the monochromatic mammals the zoo's recently acquired), I'd imagine that this would be the next possible move. Certainly worth a shot, I guess.
@StoppableSan Now that would be a brilliant plan! The lions desperately need a larger space with all the other African species, and the baboons need to escape their Giant's Causeway nightmare.
