Great-tailed Grackle (Quiscalus mexicanus) I think.

I don't think so, I would guess a Lamprotornis starling.

I concur with @Kakapo that this is a Lamprotornis (glossy starling).

That makes much more sense. Probably Purple Starling (Lamprotornis purpureus).
