@UngulateNerd92 I came across an article a few months ago that was written about the history and construction of the Caldwell Zoo. I recall reading that the current and retiring zoo director, Hayes Caldwell, and former Milwaukee County Zoo director, George Speidel collaborated in the design for at least the East Africa exhibit, if not more of the zoo. I cannot find the article anywhere now though, unfortunately.
@Wild wolverine ah thank you. I really appreciate it. Do you know what magazine the article was in or even what website it was on? I didn't know that Hayes Caldwell was retiring? I was lucky to have met him twice.
