Is it me, or do 80% of all American flamingo exhibits [not as in Phoenicopterus ruber, but flamingo exhibits that occur in the United States of America] all look rather similar?

Yeah, it is pretty standard. The new habitat at Brights Zoo is a bit different, they don't have an island as the pond is central and the land surrounds it. Otherwise often one sees a pond in front and foliated area behind, that is what ZooTampa has. Interestingly, at one point ZooTampa had the flamingos in a rather main lake area where they occupied a shallow end of the lake.
