Hippopotamus exhibit and walkway seen from the train, 2022-09-14

This reminds me of Auckland Zoo’s old hippopotamus exhibit with the stonework and the bridge over the water.

@Zoofan15 Under the bridge there is also an underwater viewing area with a large window.

@Zoofan15 Pairi Daiza's exhibit is not a modernized exhibit, but was newly built around 2011-2012 with most of the rest of their African zone, "The Land of Origins".

Also, there is a bit of additional land area at the back, where the walkway turns. The passage beneath the train bridge leads to the indoor housing.
