Ring-tailed Lemur enclosure

October 2022
The trees are coming in nicely. There are three females with twins in this enclosure (all six babies were born last month) - I didn't see them. There is one or more lemur(s) in the photo, curled up on the rock in the middle, but they were too far back to see much of them.

It’s nice to see climbing structures and shade via the trees installed to encourage use of the whole habitat; though the New Zealand grasses at the front of the exhibit aren’t even remotely reminiscent of their Madagascar homeland and look really out of place.

Assuming the troop of 1.4.6 is allowed to further expand, this exhibit has the potential to become a hive of activity.
