That's because they bring their own shading! Any photo of a king cobra automatically looks like it was done in perfect lighting

I'm glad that individual is still around, it's always a highlight in the current Reptile House. I hope it gets a decent place to live in the new one.

@Daubentoniidae I'm sure it will; it's one of the standout stars of the reptile house after all, and its vulnerable conservation status definitely warrants its husbandry.
With that said, I'm genuinely curious of what the new reptile house will look like, once it's built.
