It is disappointing that the aquarium has several rooms completely dedicated to sharks and rays, and yet for years they have had zero large sharks on exhibit

@ZooElephantsMan They've got some really neat and rare cool ones, though! Which I'd rather see than another sand tiger or blacktip.

@TinoPup that’s true, maybe I don’t appreciate it as much because I’m a local so I am more used to going here more often

@ZooElephantsMan Several of the species were ones I've never seen before. I suppose you have a point about big species if you're local, I guess NYA would be closest then?

@TinoPup Yeah, I think the New York Aquarium and the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk are the main ones

@ZooElephantsMan Oh duh, forgot about CT, even though I went to both this year Mystic has sand tigers and nurse sharks (and some smaller species).
