I always love seeing North American wildlife in zoos on other continents. Though this made me realize I can't think of a single American zoo that holds ruffed grouse.
I've actually seen them in Bronx Zoo, but admittedly that's almost 10 years ago, so they may be long gone. Warsaw doesn't keep them anymore - they only seem to be around in a couple of Russian zoos.
