This was one of my priority-species on my visit to the Gambia earlier this year. 23 years ago I also visited the Gambia and saw the species almost every day but didn't take photos of it. Therefor I wanted to make some good pictures this year but failed to find a single one during my time in the Gambia .
Therefor I was quite happy to find the species on this great show and make some photos of it !
